Hi Jean-Marie,

That sounds very good!
Wix certainly has a steep learning curve.

I'd be very interested to see what you've done - it has been on my to-
do list for a long time.
Is there somewhere you could post your setup project, or I can help to
find a place for it?

Regards,
Govert

Hi,
I would also be interested in the sample of your WiX project (without of course Personal Info)
Because, I have to accomplish similar task, and a little bit lost in WiX labyrinth.
Thanks

To create a WIX Installer for Xll it's quite straight forward...

you will need :
    - http://wixtoolset.org  (To create the wix for the x86 and x64) you will need to create 2...
    - http://wixextba.codeplex.com/ (To Create a boostrapper tha will manage which msi to push on the user machine based his machine x64 or x86) the boostrapper generate a exe file

The wixToolset has an VS10 extension or you can use cmd line ( you will need light.exe, Candle.exe and Burn.exe for the Boostrapper)those exe files are located in WixToolset

The only thing you really need to do is
              - copy you xll in some directory (appDataFolder)
              - create a shortcut to your xll inside the XLSTART of the user . (Never put directly you xll inside the XLSTART)
              - Your boonstrapper (bundle) will need to check the OS version and call the approriate msi (x64 or x86).

Hope that will help you.
