Optional params and registration

Hi all

I am looking to add optional params with default values to my UDF's.

I searched on google and saw some older discussions and also see on git the Registration Helper. 

I think the registration helper is the most up to date and current approach to handle optional/default params? Can you confirm that? And if "yes", is there an example that you can point me to?

Hi Onn,

You are correct - the Registration extension is the right approach to supporting optional parameters.

There is a sample project that includes various such conversions as part of the Registration repository:

 Registration/Source/Samples/Registration.Sample at master · Excel-DNA/Registration (github.com)

It's a bit all-in-one as a sample so maybe not as simple as could be, but please ask if you get stuck.
