Hello, Govert –

Two related questions:

1.      1. When invoking a User-Defined DNA Function in Excel, the user can click on the “Help on this function” link.  This opens the Help Document at the appropriate point, according to the HelpTopic attribute within <ExcelFunctionDoc(…)>.  For example,

HelpTopic:="MyProject-AddIn.chm!1001"

a.      Is there a way to do this from the Ribbon, using C# or VB.Net?

b.      Is there a way to open the Help Document at the beginning, rather than at a particular function in question?

2.      2. The HelpTopic attribute is also available within <ExcelCommand(…)>.  Can the Excel user click on some “Help on this command” link?

These questions are probably elementary, but I have searched in vain for answers.

General observation:  The “Help on this function” link works even in the absence of a standalone “MyProject-AddIn.chm” file.   Therefore, I think that “MyProject-AddIn.chm” is embedded in “MyProject-AddIn64-packed.xll”.

Thanks for developing Excel-DNA and related packages.  They are all first rate.
