Hi Govert,

I have a set of tabular functions where the return type is object[,], thus data is returned as a dynamic array. I do like using dynamic arrays and they are quite powerful but some of my users prefer to work with tables (and as far as I can tell this is not an easy conversion?). I would like to introduce an option to return my data as a formatted table rather than a dynamic array. Is it possible to return a Table type in ExcelDNA?

Thanks!

Not easily. Excel tables and dynamic arrays don't work together so we'll, and there is no support for tables from .xll add-ins.

It's a worthy request to ask Microsoft in the feedback button.
