Hi All. This is my first experience in Excel-DNA. I have two computers with win10 MS Office 2016. I've created "hello world" plugin with NET 8.0 and it works well in Excel-VBA. Now I tried to transfer it to anothe comp with NET SDK 8.0. But my .xll file didn't work. I don't see the function in WS and VBA. Tell me please, what I have missed?

Do you see any error message when you load it with File -> Open?

You can check the security settings under

File -> Options -> Trust Center -> Trust Center Settings -> Add-Ins / Macro Settings.

Mine look like this – as long as you have ‘with notification’ you can use .xll add-ins.

Thanks for advise, I checked them. I work with VBA a lot, and I have the same settings for macroses and addins for both comps.
The error message is that the format of my.xll file doesn't match the extension... After than Excel offers to open this .xll file
I didn't change this file manualy, only copy

That message indicates you are loading the 64-bit add-in into a 32-bit version of Excel, or vice versa.

You can check the bitness of Excel in the File -> Account -> About Excel page.

When you build your add-in, you typically get <MyProject>-AddIn.xll and <MyProject>-AddIn64.xll files for 32-bit and 64-bit Excel respectively.
