The Ribbon/COM add-in helper required by add-in Add-In could not be registered.

Hello

Please help me. Suddenly I'v got this error. This error occurs ONLY if i load add in from Visual Studio in debug mode. 

Ribbon doesn't initialised, but UDF function work well.

BUT!! when I load compiled .dll (from Debug folder) everythings works OK, no error, and ribbon initialised.

ComAddIn [Error] The Ribbon/COM add-in helper required by add-in ClassLibrary2 Add-In could not be registered.

This is an unexpected error.

Error details: System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: 

 ---> System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException: Operation Interrupt (Exceprion HRESULT: 0x80004004 (E_ABORT))

Maybe the add-in has been disabled by Excel.

Check under File->Options->Add-Ins, Manage: Disabled Items.

Two ways this can happen:

 

• Unhandled exceptions thrown from ribbon callback methods
• Terminating Excel during a ribbon callback method (mostly while debugging)
