Hiya, recently I have not been able to use Excel Dna add-in, specifically the 'xfunctions' add-in. MS Office has blocked it apparently because the source is untrusted. The error message also writes,
"The setting is enforced by your system administrator and cannot be changed."

I looked up the issue in Github issues page, couldn't find it, then came across this Group but wasn't able to navigate to find the issue conversation. So if this issue has been mentioned or resolved, could y'all point me towards it or if not could it be fixed? (ps. I don't know anything regarding programming)

Hi Uwe,

you might want to check whether the XLL file is blocked by Windows. Right-click on the file, choose Properties, and then select the Unblock checkbox on the General tab

Best regards,

ad the folder where addin is to the trusted folders. This can be added using registry settings and usually, they are in HKCU in the registry so it could be possible to add using regedit even if the option is disabled in excel (but it depends on the policies pushed to the user.)
