When I start up my add-in from visual studio I get a warning saying that Microsoft Office has identified a potential security concern.

I have some knowledge on what a digital certificate is but have no idea how to sign my add-in.

I'd like to know how I can sign it so that users feel secure when our add-in is deployed to them.

Best Regards,
Steven

Hi Steven,

You are looking for the "Sign Tool" utility: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/8s9b9yaz(v=vs.110).aspx

There are some related discussions on the Excel-DNA Google group too, if you search for "signtool":

Regards,
Govert
