Hello,

I have an exceldna solution that uses vb.net to do some heavy calculations.
Now I want to use the exact same calculations in an azure solution without duplicating my code. So I split my code in a project targetting net8.0-windows and a project targetting net8.0.
In development using visual studio everything works fine but when I run an install then I get an error 13 Type Mismatch.
This happens when a function in the net8.0-windows project calls a function in the net8.0 project.

How do I get around this.  All help is welcomed

Hi Bart,

It should work fine like that.

Maybe you have some old version of things being loaded.

Check if you uninstall and reinstall the add-in in Excel, or just make sure you really clean output folders etc.

Hi Govert,

Thanks for assuring that it should work. I was already spending to much time looking in the wrong direction. I can now narrow my search

Obfuscation was the cause of my problems. I did a standalone obfuscated of the dll's of both projects where I should have done one obfuscate of both files together
