I'm getting this error message when loading my test addin:

"Sorry, we couldn't find C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\AddIns\RtdTest-AddIn.xll. Is it possible it was moved, renamed or deleted?"

However, the addins loads and works fine after this message.
Does anyone have any idea why is this error message shown?

I'm a bit vague on the details, but will try to give the clues I have.

Sometimes when you install an add-in in Excel through the Add-Ins dialog, Excel want to copy the .xll to the add-ins directory (it prompts for this).
If you say 'yes', then it gets copied to the directory you show, which will then be the directory it loads from.
If you have other dependencies it could be a problem, and anyway there is then some mysterious Excel stuff that happens.

Not sure what you did before this happened.
Is there a file in the given location?
Does your add-in require other files to load?
Anything else you can remember?

Probably you can fix it in the add-in dialog (Alt+t, i) by clicking on the 'missing' add-in, then Excel will prompt to remove. Say yes. Then restart Excel and install again.

It's just a single file. I was trying to launch it by passing the path to the addin via the command line (as ExcelDNA sets by default for debugging), and usually it worked perfectly by today I'm getting this error message. I'm not getting any prompts, just this error message.
