Ribbon loading twice

Hi all, 

I have been testing the ribbon and I used the code there as a test :

However, the ribbon is loading twice : I see 2 tabs 'My Tab''.

Any idea why ?

just check if you have got addin loaded from Addins tab as well.. it seems 2 addins are loaded from different folders may be..

Actually when I run the Addin from Visual Studio to test the Ribbon in Excel, I get a com Addin loaded from the  Debug\net472\publish folder, and another COM addin from the Debug\net472\ folder only. The Excel Addin is sourced from the  Debug\net472\publish.

Anything I could be doing incorrectly ?

make sure that all the addins are unchecked in File - Options - Addins - Excel Addins. Seeing 2 addins loaded (one for ribbon) is a expected behavior. You can also check registry key - HKCU - Software - Microsoft - Office - 16.0 - Excel - Options - Open (Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Excel\Options)  and remove the addin listed when excel is closed.
