Hello,

I am attempting to create a simple Sankey diagram from some survey data stored in excel. In the future I plan to learn how to use Java and D3, but for now I'm using the Excel to Sankey code provided by Bruce McPherson (THANK YOU). I managed to produce the attached diagram, but the problem is there are other connections not shown in the dataset. I believe this is because the default only takes data from a limited number of rows, and my data contains a few more rows than the example that comes with the cDataSet.xslm download. My (woefully amatuerish) question is simply how can I make the macro read all the lines in my dataset - keeping in mind I am a complete newbie to java and vba.

Thank you for any help you can give!
William

Thanks for the reply! I don't think so. Copied and pasted Sankey worksheets from excel into new document (attached).

I'm sorry, now I'm realizing that indeed something else seems to be going on. The diagram includes all of the connections but the top members of the the far-right column should be merged with the middle elements - indeed, they have the same lables.

Hi Bruce, Ok, TOTAL newbie. I'm sorry, I figured out the problem - I had not understood the column labelling before. Now working just fine. Once again, thank you for making this available!
