Hi Bruce

I was looking at your solution to create Shankey graphics from excel. I think this is pretty amazing. I am wondering is it possible to create other graphics from Excel using d3js? One of my favourite visualisations is http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2012/11/30/us/tax-burden.html. This was created by Mike Vostock. Is it possible to create a graphic like this from excel also?

Actually there are a number of vizualizations on the site .. Do a search For d3 on ramblings.mcpher.com .... Which are generated from excel using d3.js.

D3 is a framework developed by mike bostock.

Actually excel plays little part in it aside from organising the data and creating a web page from components I wrote in java script,

So the answer to your question is yes.. Many more visualizations are possible, and some have already been implemented.
