HI all,
i have activated my account and API KEY with EOD HIstorical data but it seems that formula doesn't work (#NUM Error).
If i try to download your sample spreadsheet the result is the same.

Hi Luca,

Which sample spreadsheet are you trying to use, can you send me a link as we have several? Also can you tell me which stock you are looking at and I can investigate?

Also, if you are accessing EOD Historical Data you need to ensure you have the correct data subscription, i.e. for fundamental data you need to have a package that covers fundamental data.

Kind Regards,

Andy

Hi Andy,
i'm trying with this one https://coderun.blob.core.windows.net/epf/samples/ExcelPriceFeedYahooFinanceFormulas.xlsx. I tried with several stock such as Microsoft (MSFT.US) Fortinet.
It seems strange that all the cells return me such error regardless what kind of data i'm requesting.
Does it work from your side?

That spreadsheet demonstrates all of the Yahoo Finance formulas provided by the Add-in and as such uses standard stock tickers (i.e. not EOD Historical Data tickers).

So your example of Microsoft stock needs the ticker MSFT not MSFT.US

If you are unsure of the ticker you can use the search function in the Add-in, please see attached screenshot

I hope this helps.

Can you ensure that you have the appropriate EOD data subscription, i.e. for fundamental data you need to have a package that covers fundamental data.

I presume that you have setup your API key correctly and can, for example, use the EOD search function in the Add-in?

I seem to have the same issue. Yes I have the api key setup and confirmed through the button click in the configuration panel. Also, yes I am using the stock symbol with the obligatory ".US" attached. Still no joy.

Can you try a simple formula such as this:

=EPF.EOD.PERatio("AAPL.US")

Which should show the PE Ratio of Apple stock, approx. 29

I assume you have subscribed to the appropriate EOD data package for the data you are requesting?
