I can't get any formulas to return any data.

I am seeing a down indication on https://www.excelpricefeed.com/status, but it is " Ongoing Incident reported at: 17:00 UTC on 30 April 2025 ".

I am unsure if this is up or down. I can't get any formulas to work.

I found an update. I installed EPF version 1.131 and the problem went away. I previously had version 1.130 installed.

Cancel that. I gor EPF to work for about two minutes after installing 1.131. Now it is not working again.

There was a change made to Yahoo Finance which caused a problem with the data feed.

Some users, with small spreadsheets and infrequent updates, will see no problems. Users with more substantial spreadsheets will see intermittent problems.

We are working hard to getting a fix out very soon.

We will post an update here when the fix is available, and we are very sorry for the inconvenience.

Still not working for me with version 1.132. Not a very complex sheet either. Just trying to pull EPF.Yahoo.Price for 43 symbols.

Where do I find the version of EPF I am using?  The icon is the toolbar says Version (Latest).  I am still having trouble pulling any data from Yahoo Finance.
Thank you

Version 1.132 is not working for me at all. Example: formula EPF.Yahoo.DividendsDatePeriod returns #NUM! for every result. Same for formula EPF.Yahoo.AnalystRecommendation. Every result is #NUM!. EPF.Yahoo.Price and EPF.Yahoo.PERatio return #VALUE! for every cell.

This is badly broken. Version 1.132 is not working.

Version 1.132 is not working for me either...

I can't get version 1.31 or 1.32 to work. All I get is errors for every formula. This is 3 days with this effectively flat down for me.

Correction. I can't get either versions 1.131.0.0 or 1.132.0.0 to work. All I get is errors for every formula. This is 3 days with this effectively flat down for me.

We are currently working on a new version which will be released within the next hour or two. This version has several improvements as well as some additional error logging.

We are working hard to handle the recent Yahoo Finance changes which are outside our control.

Thank you for your patience.

Still not working for me.

EPF.Yahoo.Price() returns #NUM. I am running Excel 2007.

If it is still not working, first wait 10/15 minutes for any potential block to clear then restart Excel.

Then, if still not working, please you send me the contents of your error log, you can view it in Excel on the ExcelPriceFeed tab, Help->Error Log.

Send it to: he...@coderun.net

Thanks

Thanks, it is working now except for the EPF.Yahoo.Historic.Close() returns #NUM.  Even one cell will not work.

Error log contains the same message multiple times:

Some things are working, like EPF.Yahoo.Price, but others are not, like EPF.Yahoo.HistoricDailyLookback. I'm also getting the Too Many Requests error.

Ok that is helpful, thanks.

This is showing that you are still blocked by Yahoo, I suspect from when you were using the old version of Excel Price Feed.

The only solution is to wait a while until you are unblocked, then the new version will start working. It's impossible to say exactly how long, although in my experience 15 minutes seems to work.

The new version will prevent this blocking from happening, so once you are up and running you should not see this again.
