@BingBongKittyCat I can totally relate! I installed MCCC a while ago but didn't understand how it worked. I ran into some complications and changes to my game that I didn't like. I removed MCCC immediately after that and since have been slowly researching / testing it in a separate game save. So, I'm very sorry for your loss. Since mods are not supported by EA, you'll need to check with the MCCC creator through their Patreon or Discord for problems you encounter while using it.

At any rate, if you want to try getting those sims back. You could try restoring a save from a time before you lost them. In the load game menu, highlight the save you want to restore from, then click the "recover save" button in the lower right corner. (Before you do that though, you might want to move MCCC out of your mods folder until you know which settings to change.)

When you click that button, you'll be prompted with a list of your last five auto saves. Hopefully one of the save points will have those sims you lost. The downside is you will lose any progress you made in the current save.

As @jpkarlsen and @JonaO703 said, it is hard coded into the game to only allow households to have 8 sims. There are several mods out there, in addition to MCCC that do allow you to have more than 8 sims in a household but none of them override the game when it comes to CAS. So every time you take a household into CAS, sims get deleted automatically. No one, as far as I know, has found a way to stop it.

But MCCC does have a way built in that does allow you to edit those households and not lose any sims. You have to do it through an MCCC option to edit individual sims. You can find the option by clicking on the sim you want to edit and select MCCC. Look for the Sim Commands option and select the Modify in CAS option. That takes just that one sim into CAS, not the entire household.

So that is a way to manage households of more than 8 sims and not have them deleted when you go to CAS. But you are stuck using that way from then on for those households with more than 8 sims. If you forget and take the household to CAS the normal way or through the MCCC option to Modify the household, then sims will get deleted.

I have been playing the sims 4 and using MC command center (MCCC) for years now but I only recently learned MCCC can be used to stop the invasion of the ugly townie outfits. For me this means no more time spending hours on making over townies because their ridiculous outfits break the immersion.

3. Fixingthe outfit(s) of one specific sim. Go to the sim -> MCCC -> MC dresser-> outfit commands -> A. use clean outfits to change all outfits of thissim to a saved outfit if one is available OR; B. Use load outfit to load the firstsaved outfit only for the category the sim is currently wearing, and bypressing this again it will load the second saved outfit, then the third, etc. untilyou find a desired outfit OR; C. Use random saved outfit to get a random savedoutfit from and for the category the sims is currently wearing. Pro: You preventsims from starting to all wearing a certain outfit, because you choose in theend. Also, townies will still get original outfits and might even pleasantlysurprise you. Con: If you only use this method it takes a lot more time to fixall ugly townies (so I only use it in combination with the other two)

- Afterinstalling everything, make sure to check if everything seems file. Do this bystarting a new safe with a male and female sim and go through (some of) theoutfits categories. This can be done byclicking on the sim -> Mccc -> mc dresser -> outfit commands ->load outfit. It will first load the first outfit, and by clicking load outfitagain it will load the second, then third, etc. If you see the delete outfitoption at the outfits you load, this is a good thing. If you only see the safeoutfits button while loading the outfits, there might have gone somethingwrong: check if you followed the installation guide correctly and contact mefor questions.

- Theoutfits work with female/male frames, not with the sims their outfit preference.So sims with a female frame will always get the female saved outfits even iftheir preferred style choice is male. This is the way mccc works.

There are 12 DIFFERENT FILES you can choose from,which are all combinations of 4 different variables. You can only have ONEfile, so read the description of the variables careful so you will know whichversion is most suited for you. Update 21-2-2022: There are now only 8 different files, please read update at point 5.

With thisvariable you get all the outfits that will require the packs that I have. Thepacks I have are: GTW, GT, City Living, C&D, Seasons, IL, Outdoor Retreat,Spa Day, Dine Out, Vampires, Parenthood, Jungle adventure, DHD, Luxury Party,Perfect Patio, Movie Stuff, Vintage glamour, Bowling Stuff, Tiny Living, NiftyKnitting and the free holiday celebration pack.

3. Downloadthe MC dresser outfits file with your preferred variables HERE (NOAD-LINK/SIMFILESHARE) Put the file in your MC command centerfolder in your mods folder. If you already have amc dresser file, copy everything in one of the files, and past it in the other.

I tested the file and it seems like everything is working fine. All the sims wearing this item now should automatically get it again. There also is no change needed in the outfit files, I made sure the item code is still the same. I did have some trouble with the thumbnail, so there might not be one. I might look into this later but consider it a minor issue.

MC command center (version 2021.4.1) currently has a bug that can prevent mc dresser to run at the age up of an NPC/townie. This means that sims that age up outside your household probably will get random outfits instead of a saved one, even if you have set the mccc settings correctly on the computer. I have been told this issue will be fixed in the next version of mccc. Until then, you can still fix the outfits of the sims that aged up outside of your household by going to the sim -> MCCC -> MC dresser -> outfit commands -> clean outfits. Unfortunately, as far as I know, this has to be done individually with each sim.

Kijiko has updated their no-EA-eyelashes files. It is no longer possible to remove the EA- eyelashes for an individual sim. Because part of my mod was based on the individual aspect of this feature, part of my mod is now outdated as soon as you get the new sims 4 update (the one alongside the werewolves release date) and the updated file from Kijiko.

If you had downloaded my MC dresser file which includes the no-EA-eyelashes variable and/or downloaded my No-EA-eyelashes mod, you should follow this short update tutorial. If you are not sure which MC dresser file you had downloaded, make sure to replace it anyway so you are sure the one you use is not outdated.

3. Replace your MC dresser file in your MCCC folder with another not-outdated version of one of my MC dresser files (download link in the original post). If you can, make sure you choose the file with the same variables as before. Except without the no-EA-eyelashes variable of course, this one is now outdated. Choosing the same variables as before is however not necessary. You can try giving sims outfits (in a new temporarily safe) to check which variables your MC dresser file had.

Because of everything going on in the world right now I have nothing to do anymore. I decided do try something new and make a lookbook!
This lookbook is based on the syle of and is modeled by a sim I made for the rainbow mermaid cas-challenge. She is very ambitious but struggles with getting things done in live. although she tries so hard, sims can feel she is faking her confidence a lot of the time.
