Hi all,
Exaile 4.2.0-alpha1 has been released and can be downloaded from
<https://github.com/exaile/exaile/releases>.

The big change in the 4.2 series is that Exaile now uses an SQLite
database for the music library, replacing Berkeley DB. Note that you
still need the bsddb3 or berkeleydb module installed in order to migrate
to the new format.
The testing period for 4.2.0 will be shorter than usual because we want
to get this database migration out as soon as possible. Please let us
know urgently if you encounter issues. If everything goes well, we might
even skip beta releases.
