can exaile make use of laptop audio keys?

I got a lenovo laptop. It has Fn key that can be used with the
up,down, left, right keys to play/pause and advance tracks. Is there a
way to make exaile work while using these keys? Banshee can do it in
ubuntu. But by default exaile is not working with these keys. Is there
a way to make it work?

There are a couple plugins that will enable it - one of them is
GNOME-specific and will pick up whatever you have set for multimedia
keys in GNOME's prefs, and the other (XKeys) is a generic one that
uses a separate mmkeys package to handle the key grabs. Your copy of
Exaile should have included these plugins, just enable the one you
want to use in Exaile's preferences.
