DLNA Plugin?

I was wondering if there are any plans for a DLNA player plugin (i. e.
exaile playing DLNA media, not serving), or if there is already one I
just could not find.
There is something called python-coherence and a totem plugin, and
there
is a DAAP plugin for Exaile. So it's maybe not too much to invent
(only
guessing here). My Python is just not good enough to give it a try
(why
the * can't you just use perl -- just joking, sorry...).

work on it yet.
