Hello,

I'm totally new to ExaBayes and trying to get up and running, but I keep receiving the following error, even when just trying to run exabayes -h to bring up the help:

exabayes: error while loading shared libraries: libmpi_cxx.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I have installed both 1.4.1 and 1.4.2, and I get the same message for both.  I've tried loading a few of the different intelmpi/openmpi modules available on the server and that hasn't resolved the issue.  Here is a list of all the intelmpi and openmpi modules available, in case that helps:

intelmpi/4.0.2.003
intelmpi/4.0.3.008
intelmpi/4.1.0.027
intelmpi/4.1.1.036
intelmpi/4.1.2.040(default)
intelmpi/5.0.3.048

openmpi/1.4.4-gcc-v4.6.1
openmpi/1.4.4-intel-v12.1(default)
openmpi/gcc/1.6.4
openmpi/gcc/1.8.3
openmpi/intel/1.6.4

Any help you could offer would be most appreciated.

Cheers,
Matt

Dear Matt,

This sounds like an MPI-specific problem that is most probably
associated with your MPI installation.

Check this post here:

Otherwise you should contact the cluster administrator for help.
