  Association means finally people (alumni ... groups , teams).

  Letter & spirit are important for progressive movement of people associations.

  Now it is time to develop few more rules for future health of teams.

  As learned persons you can bring more thoughts.... to make the association more glittering & do service to alumni at CORE.

With this motto to keep the Bangalore Chapter flag flying we are the first chapter to initiate some novel steps so that more & more alumni participate right from the first batch till the last batch.We have been successful to a great extent.

1) Appointing women EC members.In the first committee we had one women & in the present committee have two of them who are very active.

2)Launching of newsletters

3)Holding technical sessions in different parts.

4) Allocating portfolios to various EC members right from PR activities to build a strong brand to doing social work including plantation drives to name a few.

5)To appoint EC members from various batches to see more participation.

6)Launching of WhatsApp group for ladies so that the spouses could drive their husband to attend alongwith them.

7)Designing various entertainment activities right from conducting ANTAKSHRI TO HOUSIE GAMES to name a few.

8) Honouring our Professors,seniors& children of alumni for their achievements in sports,academic & any other field.

9)Conducting all alumni meetings, picnics etc without charging a penny from any alumni.

10) Having a fixed calendar of events for every year& adhering to the same.A meeting has been conducted every quarter.

10A) As a chairman of Benevolent fund we tried to help alumni members who were very sick financially & physically.

11) We had appointed a committee to takeover from us so that they can drive the activities initiated by us but unfortunately that committee did not even takeover the accounts nor got the accounts transferred to the secy's name inspite of repeated reminders for the same for over 6 months.The message was covered clearly by the undersigned& Hon. Secy but the new secy did not find time to takeover nor they organised any event for the whole year .When the alumni started calling up regarding the absence of any programme  for the whole year the committee which was holding the responsibility earlier had to step in & takeover again to complete all the statutory obligations including audit & other pending issues & started the activitirities once again after the alumni's at the meet forced us to takeover once again & start the activities .So hence we conducted a family meeting & now have organised a picnic on 21st oct 2018 at Madiwala lake from 9 am to 4pm .

12)To facilitate for a new body to take over in Nov 2018 we have announced election on Nov. 11th On the request of our founder member.

13) Some persons are trying to create a wrong impression that we want to hold the positions which neither the Hon. secy,Mr. Narayan Reddy,the present treasurer Mr. Ravi Thirumalai nor the undersigned were ever interested to hold. In fact when five years earlier I was asked to be the President I had clearly refused to be one but was forced by the members to take it. After our two year term was over we again requested that someone step in our shoes but again we were forced to continue by the alumni present.We identified some new alumni 's to takeover from us after talking to them but that turned out to be unsuccessful for reasons known to them but at no point of time our support was lacking.Now I am happy people are fighting to have elections (that is a very good sign) as that shows that people are willing to take on responsibilities.All The Best to them.

We as a team are very happy that the responsibility bestowed upon us by the alumni 's ,we were able to handle it with all the support from the members & my team & hence would like to thank one & all for bearing with us the little discomfort which was totally unintentional & giving us great support.Alumni meets are a great source of strength ,pleasure etc.Hence I would request one & all to attend the meets in the future & especially the picnic to be conducted on 21st. oct 2018 at Madiwala Lake.Pl. register so that we can arrange the logistics like food etc.We always avoid wastage .

14) This will be the last function of the present team & hence request all of u to confirm ur participation & make it a success.Pl. share this message with your batchmates, classmates of NITW &ENSURE WE HAVE A GREAT TIME.

15)We want to reemphasise here that none of us are interested in any position in NITWAA.Only request is that people who have toiled all along in difficult times should be appreciated & not commented on by people who never attended a single meeting or at best attended 1-2 meets.Otherwise no one will work for alumni association.

16) We are happy that we are leaving this body with a clean slate & lot of satisfaction except for the last few weeks of comments by misinformed individuals.Our conscience knows what we have done for this alumni body so hence we overlook all these comments which are frivolous.

17) We would all like u to stand up & clap for this team of dedicated alumni 's who left all their work & spent quality time in bringing up this association.

 Item for your acceptance :

    As per our last EC meeting on Saturday, 6th October, it is agreed to conduct AGM & election on Sunday, 18th Nov for a NEW EC team,

as earlier team could not take transition completely and present team volunteered to make the association active & live.

   

   Few seniors want the election a week earlier from 18th Nov for their known reasons, hence I want to take your acceptance to conduct on Saturday, 11th Nov.

 

  Now I am working on the election schedule to be released shortly.

  Request you to inform all your NITW alumni in Bangalore / Karnatak to actively participate and help in running the association with NEW team smoothly.
