From the Virtualmin forum, the default block time is 1 minute, and the number of wrong passwords is 5. So out of the box, this block will be temporary. i do hope you got back in, and the block time wasn't too long!

In answer to your question, I can't see any CLI fix for this, as Virtualmin isn't run from within our accounts.

I tried to log into VirtualMin too many times, and now it tells me that
access is denied because of too many attempts to connect.
 
Support of course doesn't answer, and twitter fails to awaken anyone.
 
Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this problem from the CLI on my
server or of a way to get support to react?
