I would appreciate it if someone could help post these two pics to the exITT, if we still do that ....
Charlie sure loved his career at ITT and all of his co-workers. Talking to his daughter and son, they said that recently, he had his kitchen walls taped with his family and career milestones, all the places he worked with ITT, so the family would know his life story before he passed.
He has boxes and boxes of Engineering project reports, photos of his co-workers at various locations, and the basement is full. She said he was so proud that his French coworkers in Paris congratulated him for the American technology used in landing on the Moon. And, everyone who worked on getting those huge switching offices running in LasVegas did a great job, he was proud to be a part of it.
Charlie was a cheerful coworker who was a great "buffer" to upper ITT management. How did we all survive with Gika & Reines' schedules, cutover dates picked because of someone's birthday or a dart board perhaps. We remember being told that an End-Date was like a Wedding-Date, it never gets changed.
