          October 1st was a big day in Chicago for raising all of our draw bridges so that the sailboats could go up river for their winter storage.   As your sailing/racing  season is coming to a close you may be interested in the AAUW activities in your area.  

American Assoc of Univ Women

Sharon (and I sometimes) have been attending the AAUW activities for the past 50 years in Glen Ellen & Wheaton area.  We just attended a fun and quality event at the local old Glen Theater which showed "15 min  short movies" and then asked the audience to give their input vote. These are being shown all over the country/world  this week.  Might be in NY & Long Island.

I still get the pulp wood news paper delivered to my curb daily .... I know who prints it;  yet costs 50x's more than the pdf version..... 😵‍💫

Always an interesting and active AAUW  group of attendees.  Bookclubs, Film discussion, Hiking & Speaker events,  weekly stuff.  see attachments
