Karmayog Seva Mela was inaugurated by Ms. Katherine Dhanani US Consul General, Hyderabad on 7th October, 2011. It is being held for one more day - today.
Come and experience the Joy of Service - 57 NGOs coming under one roof showcasing their services- areas of work include Counseling, Education, Empowerment, Environment, Food & Nutrition, Health, Rehabilitation, Shelter, Water, Social Development.
Visitors may bring items to be donated - could be dry ration like Rice, Dal, Oil, etc. New or Used clothes, shoes, toys, electrical and electronic items, old newspapers, old books, money. May bring whatever they do not need but would think someone else could make use of.
You may choose an NGO from the 50+ that are participating in the Seva Mela that you wish to donate to and give there. Or give preferably through a central point in the Mela through which as per your wish your donation could be reached to that NGO of your choice - by routing through a central point we could have record of your donation.
A number of events like entertainment programs, music and dance performances, motivational speeches, games, quizzes and many others are there for you to enjoy. Food stalls put up by NGOs - a variety of items that would appeal to your taste buds...
Venue: Zorastrian Club, S.P. Road, Secunderabad. Opp Anand Cinema, Next to Yatri Niwas
Dates: October 7 and October 8, 2011
Timings: 11 AM - 8 PM
Entry Free.
