This is Prabhakar Chalasani from Washington DC,

I don’t you that well because I worked Hyderabad Works only for 17 years ( 1975 to 1992) and came to Study MS in Chemical Engineering in Texas.

After working for about 30 years ( 13 years as contractor and 17 years as Federal government) , I retired ( on September 30, 2025 ) at age of 75.

Mother Nature- has taken away  more than 50 % of my Boses ( including K Nagarajan, E. Gopakrishna , BN Murthy, T CSharma) , KR Venkat Narayana, M Lakshmi Narayana etc and my friends like RPapiah, Chalasani Jagdish, V Janardhan etc.

Now I am left with only few people like Dr EG Mahadevan, B Sudhakar, R Subba Rao, R Srinivasan, PV Satya Vratan, EM Rao, Papa Rao, R Shanta Kumar, Jayanti Menon, AS Murthy, G Viseswara Rao etc

Most of them are living but not in sound health.

I am planning to visit India in December 2025 and planning to attend ex-IDL meeting and we should appreciate the efforts of Dr Vyas Murthy, Paradha Saradhy for taking initiative and interest in organizing these meetings every year.

Hi. Nice to see your response. We have lost so many friends colleagues and relatives. Just the thought scares us. Try not to think along those lines and live the present

We have moved to US last Feb. we live with our daughters in Maryland nearDC. One lives in Potomac and the other in Bethesda 

I worked in INBRI Bangalore.  I know quite a few people in IDL. 

I am turning 75 on 31 December. We are of the same age. Sometimes I feel young nit always. Even though some say age is just a number, I feel it is not so and age is catching up

It is always bright and joyful to interact with friends

Hi I am extremely happy to see your messages. I remember all you very well 

 and happy all are doing well though the age catches up. I with my wife also settled for the last so many years is US with my son 

I have second life after Doctors saved me 

 last September 

I’m diagnosed with acute lung problems 

I use breathing support machine during the night and feeling for better now
