Salaams,
This is just to let you know that we have the meeting room in the Canton Library booked for July 17th. We are allowed to serve light refreshments, but we have to pay a kitchen deposit which will be returned if the room is returned in good condition. The room is free for us because I'm a Canton resident and because we're a non-profit. However, if we are unable to provide proper documentation of non-profit status, we will be charged $100 for the room. We are not allowed to collect donations while we use the room (no monetary transactions can take place in the room, unless if they are with the library itself), but we are allowed to pass out information and ask them to mail donations to us. On all materials that we will be distributing, we need to say that the library does not endorse this and we have to show them these materials well before the event itself.
I asked about the media stuff and she said that she would e-mail me a list of things that they have in the room that we can use.
