Nodem version 0.12.0 has been released

Nodem version 0.12.0 has been released!

This version adds asynchronous support to the current get, kill, order, and set APIs. In order to use it, pass a JavaScript function as the last argument to those APIs.

This version also adds experimental support for YottaDB's new SimpleAPI data access interface, vastly improving the performance of Nodem. This support is also currently available for the get, kill, order, and set APIs, and only works if you are running on YottaDB r1.20 or newer. An additional caveat is that this support is off by default, but you can enable it by going in to the root of the Nodem repository and running ./try-simple-api, which will turn SimpleAPI support on, and then recompile Nodem.

There are many more features and improvements coming to Nodem in the near future, so stay tuned. Let me know how you like the software.

Nodem is the standard way to access YottaDB's #NoSQL management capabilities. It's exciting to see it using the C Simple API and offering asynchronous support. Way to go, David!
