Hi Basit,  nice to read your introduction.

I'm not normally involved with HMT but rather transportation - I am the Transport CoP Co-ordinator for EWB-UK.  I would be interested in reading the abstract from your project ‘Utilization of GPRS for telemedicine’ if possible.  Is there nay chance you can post it onto the group page or email it to me?  (andy.mc...@ewb-uk.org)

Thanks and best regards,
Andy

Hi Andy
Thanks for the interest in my paper. Below is the abstract and I am also going to email you the complete paper. While reading, you need to consider some points like; it is a short and old paper i.e., published in 2005 and I was in 3rd year of my engineering degree.

Regards

Basit

AbstractThis paper highlights the utilization of General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) for telemedicine.  It enlightens the advantages of GPRS as well as its limitations when used for a telemedicine system.  This paper offers different solutions to overcome the limitation of GPRS.  A new telemedicine system is proposed and analyzed which will connect the medical equipment with internet through GPRS and doctor will diagnose from anywhere by using internet.  Latest techniques of GPRS are also discussed which will be an asset for future enhancements in the field of telemedicine.
