Hello HMT CoP!

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help Faheem out at all? He
is
doing some research for MSF on their medical logistics supply chain
and
would really appreciate some help with a bit of pharmacology (see
below).

Any help is much appreciated!

Katie

Hi Katie,

Do you know of anyone who may be working in the pharmacology area?

I am doing some work for Doctors Without Borders in looking for
research,
literature and data on how to group pharmaceuticals based on their
stability
in high temperatures and humidity during ship transportation.
Specifically,
I am looking for three things:

1. understanding the stability of pharmaceuticals and medical devices?
2. measuring the stability using indicators (potency, active
ingredient,
dissolved oxygen, colour, pH level, etc)?
3. is it possible to classify pharmaceuticals and medical devices into
certain "stability" groups for transportation by ship?

If you could put me in touch with others who could also be of help, I
would
really appreciate it. Thanks for your time, support and co-operation
in this
matter.

Best Regards,
Faheem Merchant
