As we continue to celebrate our achievements this December, we would like to highlight our Panama Program, which was started in 2015! Last December, the Panama Program successfully commissioned a gravity-fed water distribution system in the village of Las Delicias, providing clean water to over 200 community members. Over the past year, the Panama design team has developed the design for an additional water transmission main in Las Delicias. In February 2020, the program will send five students and Mike Sanders, our professional mentor, to Las Delicias to oversee construction of this infrastructure. After this transmission main is constructed, the team will head to La Pedregosa, a brand new project in which the team will begin assessment for a new water distribution project.
