Dear Supporters of EWB-USA NEU,

Since 2004, the Northeastern Chapter of Engineers Without Borders has completed 6 drinking water projects which have provided access to clean water to over 2,500 community members. Currently our Panama and Uganda programs are working dilligently with our partner community members to provide potable water closer to people's homes. In Guatemala, the team is working with the EWB-USA In-Country office to design and construct a school building in the community of Chuixil.

On this Giving Tuesday, we are asking for your help to continue our work in these communities.

2019 has been a productive and exciting year for our chapter. With three active projects and over 120 students working on design, administrative tasks, and knowledge sharing, EWB-USA NEU continues to excel. As recognition for this hard work, our chapter was selected for the 2019 Premier Chapter Award by EWB-USA, an award that recognizes one student chapter of EWB in the country that demonstrates effective communication, substantial organization, and meaningful impact.

This award and our chapter's impact would not be possible without the gracious support from you: our donors, mentors, technical advisors, members, alumni, friends, and family.. We are extremely grateful for the time, knowledge, or funds that you have all contributed to make this organization possible. In the coming months, EWB-USA NEU plans to send 15 students and four professional mentors to our partner communities across the globe to construct our projects, and we need your help more than ever.

Please consider donating to EWB-USA NEU to help reach our Year End Campaign Goal of $7,000. Each dollar counts as we prepare for construction in Panama, Guatemala, and Uganda, and by reaching our goal of $7,000 we can cover about 10% of total project costs.

To donate, please click the button above or visit our page using this link. To subscribe to our general mailing list, please do so here. You can also follow our social media using the icons below. If you'd like to read more about our chapter's work, please see the attached Fall 2019 Distributions Article.

In partnership,
EWB-USA NEU
