EWB-NEU Giving Campaign Continues!

Dear Supporters of EWB-USA NEU,  

Join me today in supporting EWB-USA NEU's largest project.

 

Just this Monday, our Uganda program sent five students and two professional mentors to Nakyenyi, Uganda to oversee drilling of a well and construction of a hand-pump. The team arrived in the community on Wednesday and are currently working directly with the drilling contractor to dig a 70 meter water well.

 

EWB-USA NEU is still in the beginning stages of a water distribution system here in Nakyenyi. After the well is drilled, the team will analyze the amount of water the well can provide for Nakyenyi. With a population of about 3,600, the chapter is investigating other water sources to incorporate into a distribution system
