How can we actively involve all stakeholders in the design process and ensure that the outcomes best serve the community and their specific needs and values?
Join us on 18 March 2021 to learn about Human Centered Design (HCD), sometimes called “design thinking”, and why it’s becoming an important tool in sustainable design.
This will be an informative, fun, and interactive workshop with an aim to provide participants with a basic overview of the HCD process along with an understanding of the purpose and benefits of using it in a development context. The content of this workshop
is based on the IDEO Human Centered Design process, and with the benefit of field experience from our workshop facilitators.
This workshop is a joint initiative from the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee - a partnership between the Washington DC and North Virginia Engineers without Borders-USA Chapters, the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, and the National Society
of Black Engineers.
Thank you.
