Saher did grate work on building contacts, she managed to talk to the school principal and in general he agreed to meet us. Still we are not getting good cooperation from him and he is willing to meet only on specific time during the week that we are not able to get there. Also Saher talked to Raida about the system, we had a hard time to get her on the phone and she didn't give a good feedback. We need to work on our community bonds! This is the main agenda for the coming visit and requires much work. In the last few meetings there was very low attendance when a lot of people didn't even said there not going to make it. The only member of the comm. Team was Saher, we can't make useful discussions or dissections when most of the group is not at the meeting. As we agreed a member of the group is only an active member. Please make an effort to come to meetings, if u think your schedule is too much and u can't be an active member tell me.
We talked about the goals of the community for the visit:
- Direct contact with the mothers of the kids in the kindergarten
- Surveys for the mothers (or grandparents that pick up the kids) maybe to be handed before us coming
- Knowing the community (Ajeek can help)
- Door to door survey
- Talking about the community with the teenagers – Liv offered and activity that she did with a different youth group and she'll explain more about it and write it down in the next meeting
The technical agenda is getting the teenagers more involved in the system maintenance. Tal has explained the Be'er-Sheva cooling idea and will do more research about passive cooling. Cooling has been thought of before in the group and Matteo will help us remember what has been checked.
Liv combined the tech. and comm. time lines so we can keep track. The community time line is not specific enough and need more content. Bea is opening a new dropbox or google drive for the groups docs
