Hi board members,
Please see my conversation below with Dr. Snow and let me know your thoughts on if we would like to have her or Dr. Tobin present.

Dear Neal (if I may),
I'm not really an expert on global ethics. In that area, I'd recommend my colleague, Dr. Theresa Tobin. I could, however, do a presentation on climate change, which has a lot to do with sustainability, and global ethics does come up a bit in that regard. If you're interesting in that kind of talk, I'd be happy to oblige, and May 12 does work for me.
Best,
Nancy

Subject: Engineers Without Borders and Ethics
Hello Dr. Snow,
I am vice president of Engineers Without Borders – Wisconsin Professional Partners (EWB WPP) and a Marquette alumnus. Our goal is to assist EWB-USA Student Chapters in Wisconsin (such as EWB at Marquette) and surrounding states in the implementation of projects and to facilitate Student Chapter development and cooperation. We create community-driven development programs worldwide by collaborating with local partners to design and implement sustainable engineering projects. Much of our activity is in Guatemala building pedestrian bridges and water distribution systems but is not limited to just that. Our chapter was wondering if you would be willing to give a presentation on global ethics. It would help our members who are licensed engineers obtain the necessary continuing education credits for ethics. Additionally, it would also help both students and professionals consider the ramifications and responsibilities we have as we work in other communities. We were thinking of this presentation as being a component of our May 12th meeting but if you were willing to present the date is somewhat flexible. If you are unable or unwilling to could you make a suggestion for another person who might be able to help us out.
Regards,
Neal

I agree with Irina!
Great. She is booked then for May 12th. I will work on getting the Library space reserved next week and hopefully the newsletter this weekend.
