Hello Everyone,
The flyer for the EWB 2015 Golf Outing (attached) is out for the first distribution to those who typically attend. As you know, we had a very successful auction last year and would like to continue the success again this year! Please collect as many silent auction items as you can for this event and keep me updated on the progress. Last year's items went over very well so please reach out again to those companies that donated. Please expand your efforts in contacting other companies, restaurants, salons, distributors, etc. to see if they will participate! Also, if university student chapters are receiving funds or help from WPP, they should be involved in this event either through collecting silent auction items, assisting at the event, etc. This is a great opportunity for them to network with potential employers and develop relationships for mentorships!
I think the flyer should be posted on the webpage for EWB-WPP as well as a blast email announcing the event and also the need for donated items and contributions for those who won't be able to attend but want to support EWB. Neal/Heather can you take care of this please?
When the MU kids held their event, they did an electronic donation/fund raising pledge and it proved to be very successful - I believe they specified dollar amounts ($25, $50, etc.) that were electronically submitted into a funding raising account. I can talk to Kelsey and see how this was set up.
We can talk more after the meeting on the 1st.
