Heather,
Credits for the meeting are quite simple to obtain.
Basically we should have a set agenda. Presenter that is competent and have a sign in sheet.
ALSO:
On the website, apparently what I purchased initially was just the domain for $13/year and now we have to pay for the hosting which is about $48/year which is what I was running into at our meeting at Moe’s. In order for Brian to upload the website we will need to have hosting as well.
For the exact specifics on the requirements for a PDF see below:
Here is the WI Administrative Code:

for PDHs, a continuing education program shall meet all of the following criteria:
(a)
The program includes instruction in an organized method of learning contributing directly to the professional competency of the registrant and pertaining to subject matters which integrally relate to the practice of the profession.
(b)
The program is conducted by individuals who have specialized education, training, or experience and are considered qualified concerning the subject matter of the program.
(c)
The program fulfills pre−established goals and objectives.
(d)
The program provides attendance verification records in the form of completion certificates or other documents supporting evidence of attendance.
And it also says:
Attending technical or professional society meetings when an engineering topic is presented as a principal part of the
program.
In conclusion, as long as the presentation is the main part of the meeting we are covered and can say it is a PDH. It is ultimately though up to the individual to verify that they feel it has met the requirements.

Hi Angela,
Thank you for the exciting update!
We are meeting Tuesday, May 6 (yes, typo in my last announcement) at UW-Milwaukee Library. I will send the announcement tonight.
Irina and Neal, do you have an update about the presenter, topic, credits for our next meeting? I don't need the entire scoop but enough for the announcement.
Milam, can you give me some details about the library spot. If you didn't already, can you reserve it? Does it include presentation equipment?
Benji, do you have any golf outing updates? Do we want a school to host the putting green?

Hi Board,
I met tonight with Mike Paddock, Mark Rappant, Milam, and a few profs from MSOE. Mike has a new project and this one will be taken on by EWB-WPP. The city of Joyabaj purchased an existing residence and is interested in converting it into a public high school.
So, this is a renovation project. Mark is on the project as the chief architect, Max Schmiege is also involved. EWB-MSOE will be traveling in early June and one of their tasks is site assessment for this project.
Mike understands that the WPP board needs to vote on this, but I just wanted to give you guys a heads up. I can provide more details about the project when we meet. BTW, May 9th is a Friday. Is that really the day of our next meeting? I mean I'm willing
to put EWB ahead of my social life, but not sure I can say the same for everyone else!
Please let me know if you have questions,
Thanks,
Angie
I have noticed recently that sometimes people have been trying to send messages out to the board but not using the Google groups email. To ensure that everyone gets the message and no one is accidentally forgotten, please use this email: ewb-wp...@googlegroups.com As an added benefit the messages are stored in our the groups page and we can always go back through to find what was said.
