Folks,

The library has a new system for reserving a space for meetings and it has been a hassle to try and get it to work.  The space that holds more than 16 people is already booked at the library for April 14th.  If I talk with Elyse and she can do it the week before or after what are your thoughts on switching the meeting date to get a bigger room or is a room for 16 people enough?

Neal

Historically, 16 spaces would be enough, no?

Yes it probably would be but I thought that perhaps Elyse’s talk about what she worked on in Guatemala might draw more people?

Anodyne again? Which library? The new public one downtown, or the one where we met last time?

Neal,

I would hope that Elyse's talk would draw more than 16 people.  I would suggest switching the meeting date to something that works for her and is available at the library.  I'm sorry that this is difficult Neal.  It seemed like such a promising location.

I'm okay with Anodyne as well as long as we don't have to pay too much.

Thanks,
Angela

Hi Everyone,

I emailed Elyse and she got back to me.  Making it later in the month would help her.  She isn’t back from Guatemala yet and actually seemed uncertain of the exact time that she would be back.  For now I have booked April21st at the Central Library.  All the library branches close earlier on Thursdays so having a Thursday meeting at the library was actually out of the question.  If it turns out that the date doesn’t work with her schedule when she knows more we can try to find another date or determine what else we should do.
