Fundraising

Hey Everyone,
So the truth is...we need money! The Guatemala Project account balance
is $344. The good thing is that we're not in debt. We are supposed to
get $12,400 from the Engineering Design Council matching funds grant,
but we have to show receipts that prove we raised the other $12,400.
Stephanie Bogle started taking care of this but I don't know that
status. I will talk to her and find out.


If any of you are willing to help, it would be greatly appreciated!

To get us started, let's get a discussion going here. If you have any
fundraising ideas (Elizabeth mentioned a silent auction), know of any
grants, rotary clubs you could contact, churches (Maricela, I remember
you mentioning this) please do share.

I listed a few grants that we could apply for under "Pages" as well as
the one's we've already applied for and/or won. If someone has some
free time and would like to research them further, please do. The WK
Kellogg and Motorola Foundation grants both have rolling deadlines,
but the Mondialogo Award is due April 30, 2009.
