From March 21 to 28, the Tanker (SE 50th and Hawthorne) will be
featuring a tap with Ninkasi's Spring Rain, which has graciously been
donated to us. Every beer you drink brings us one step closer to
providing clean, plentiful drinking water to a rural village in
Nicaragua.
On the evening of Thursday, March 25, the Tanker and EWB-PSU are
hosting a dance party featuring local DJs, a raffle featuring awesome
items donated by local businesses, and a Nintendo Wii tournament. This
is a great chance to come out and have some fun while aiding a good
cause!
Finally, on Friday March 26, from 5 to 7pm EWB-PSU and the East Burn
Tap, Patio, and Grill (SE 18th and Burnside) are hosting a benefit
dinner, featuring a multi-course meal of authentic Central American
cuisine paired with donated Chilean wine. We have room for 24 guests,
and we are selling seats for $50 each. If you'd like to join us at
this benefit dinner, e-mail us at con...@ewbpsu.org.
After 7pm on Friday, at the East Burn we're hosting a party open to
the public featuring an amazing solo jazz musician, a dance DJ, and a
local band. In addition, we'll be hosting an awesome raffle of a
variety of local products and services as well as a ski-ball
tournament.
100% of the proceeds from these events will go towards materials,
equipment, and labor for our projects in Nicaragua. EWB-PSU is a
registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and all donations are tax-
deductible to the extent permitted by law.
