EWB folks,
Here is the registration form for the Kimball 5k that will benefit EWB Pittsburgh. You can also get more information on the event here:
www.kimballcorp.com/5KChallenge. Note that there is a timed 5k run and also a fun 5k walk for those who aren’t crazy about the running thing.
Don’t forget that a group of us are also planning to go camping at nearby Prince Gallitzin State Park on Saturday night, then boating on the lake Sunday morning. If you are interested in camping and haven’t done so already, just let Erin know (erin....@gmail.com) so that we have a head count and can plan for food.
Note that if you want a T-shirt, your registration has to be in by 6/12, so not much time. It should be a really fun event and a great fundraiser for us, so I hope to see a lot of you out there.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Subject: Kimball 5K Challenge - June 27, 2009
On Saturday, June 27th, our firm will be holding the First Annual Kimball 5K Challenge at the Ebensburg office. This fundraising event, which will benefit Engineers Without Borders, is open to all Kimball employees, your friends and family, and the general community.
This would be a wonderful opportunity to promote healthy exercise and spend quality time with your kids. Or form a team of coworkers and challenge another department to a fundraising competition. Or just gather your friends for a great community event. Whoever you participate with, be sure to bring the whole family! We’ll be holding activities and events for children on the front lawn and family members can cheer you on from the start and finish lines in the Kimball driveway.
The 5K will be professionally timed by Miles of Smiles with prizes being awarded in various categories. All participants will receive a t-shirt and be entered for great door prizes. The registration fee for Kimball employees is free, other adults are $25 and kids (ages 6-15) are $15. Register with a team or individually, but sign up soon! Early registration ends on June 12. Simply print out the attached form and submit it to Krista Sponsky through inner office mail.
Also be sure to visit www.kimballcorp.com/5KChallenge for additional registration forms for your friends and family, fundraising hints and pledge forms, and flyers that can be distributed throughout the community. If you have any questions regarding the 5K please contact me.
