Hello,
What a great moment for me to inform everyone here that our three week
implementation water project in Nkuv was very successful and am happy
to say here that we now have piping systems in Nuv with 10 stand taps.
This water will be filtered through biosand filter at the household
level before consuming, because close to every household in Nkuv has a
filter. One of the link below also shows the filtered and unfiltered water testing results and the chlorined water results, which we encourage every household in Nkuv to follow the method to have completely safe drinking water. This chlorine advice also goes to some of us in cities where we have difficulties in getting clean drinking water from our sources. Chlorine
is the solution after filtration at the household level. It is the same
method we were using during our entire stay in Nkuv with Hope College
chapter of Engineers Without Borders - USA.
We
went to the Palace of Nso to visit the Fon (Paramount King) who gave us
some blessings and on our return, we brought some great results for
Him. See pictures below. The pictures are not labelled, so just for
your eyes only and you guess what happened out in Nkuv.
