So far the feedback has been positive in terms of camping. It sounds like there is some interest, so please RSVP by May 26th so that we can make a reservation for the appropriate number of people. Here's the scoop:
Cost: Not sure how much the race will cost, but that goes to EWB!
It's $25 for a camp site for up to 20 people or $39 for one up to 40 people. So, super cheap. If everyone, depending on numbers, could pitch in a dollar or two, that would take care of the camp site. Food: everyone pitches in. I'm thinking a sign up sheet for different items for different meals that way we get a good cross section of foods. If you want to bake, cool. If you want to just sign up for something you pick up at the grocery store, there will be those options as well. Overall, this is quite inexpensive.

Kimball 5K which benefits EWB!!!!
8AM -9AM: Registration (Kimball HQ)
8:30AM: DJ begins
Children’s activities on front lawn
9AM: Run Begins
9:15AM: Walk Begins
9:30-10AM: Runners/Walkers Finish
Refreshments
10:30: Awards Ceremony
10:30-Noon: Children’s activities continue
DJ continues
Noon: Clean up
afternoon/evening: go to campground, hang out, hike, swim, bike if you bring your own, etc.
Sunday: boat available from 8am-2pm, hang out, hike, swim, bike if you bring your own, etc.
This event will totally be kid friendly. Also, if you have religious obligations on Saturday or Sunday, it looks like there are options available.
As of right now, we have (please let me know if I'm wrong):
Yes: Brad, his wife, and his two kids, Beth, Erin, Michelle, Tom
Maybe: Cathy (seemed interested in white water rafting)
No: Damien (will be in France)
