EWB-OC Fundraiser Sign up - OC Market Place

Hi Team Honduras,

 

Save the Date! Our chapter will be having an upcoming fundraiser on Saturday, June 20th.  It will be a Garage Sale held at the Orange County Swap Meet. It is important that our team is well representated at the event!

 

Not only will this event be a fundraiser, but it will also be a great way to advertise our project on a personal level to a unique demographic. Additionally, it will be a casual way to mingle with members from other teams and our leadership.

Logistics for volunteers:

• Address: 88 Fair Dr Costa Mesa, CA 92626
• Contact information: Puja (714) 391 2032 Mark (949) 400 4147 (We will be there all day)
• Snacks + beverages will be provided, but you're welcome to bring your own water.
• There is a $2 entrance fee, but we are getting 20 passes. If we have more than 20 volunteers, we (Puja+Mark) will arrange to pay for their entrance fee.
• Parking is free. For those signing up for afternoon slots, you are encouraged to come 15-20 mins earlier to allow for enough time to find parking. It can get crowded depending on the day and date.
• If you have a smaller team, you may sign up for multiple time-slots (this means us, Team HONDURAS!). Larger teams should sign up different people to come out.
• Dress appropriately depending on the weather - we will be in open grounds, so bring a hat/cap and wear sunblock and comfortable shoes.
• Most importantly, HAVE FUN & REPRESENT!!! This is your opportunity to show off your hard work on the projects!
