So our chapter is hosting a corporate challenge on Ocotober 31!  Basically its an obstacle course where different teams compete against each other and whoever wins... wins!  This is also a fundraising event so our time will get 1/3 of the proceeds from this event.  But we need volunteers to help run it, if you are interested in helping run this event please contact Darren @ elda...@gmail.com

I'm writing to ask for your help in getting advance word out ASAP to the EWB-OC members on your project teams that EWB-OC will be sending around a sign-up sheet in the next week or two soliciting volunteers for the EWB-OC Corporate Challenge event.

 

The Corporate Challenge event is a go for October 31 and things are coming together quickly; however, one big task remaining is lining up the 25+ volunteers we'll need to make the event fun and successful.  The event should prove to be interesting for the volunteers as well, and the saying that many hands make light work definitely applies.  More detail will be sent out shortly with the volunteer sign-up sheet; offhand, we'll be looking for a good number of people the day of the event to do things like chaperon individual corporate teams, run the individual challenges, setup, cleanup, keep score, etc.  Volunteers will also likely be needed the evening before to help with setup.

 

If you could just get a brief, simple message out to the people on each of your projects in the next few days, it would be a big help towards laying the groundwork for lining up the volunteer support we need to make this a smashing success.
