I've attached the agenda for tonight's meeting (which starts at 7:00 p.m.) so that you would be prepared for the vast expanse of topics that we will be covering.

I have estimated that the meeting will take 2 hours 20 minutes if we stay completely on task, so be prepared for another long one (I hope everyone gets a chance to eat a hardy meal before coming!).

You'll see that for the updates, I've filled in only some of what I know and we will fill in the rest together at the meeting.

Somehow we forgot to assign someone to buy certain items, below. I am willing to buy all of these this weekend, except- Erick, will you get the 6 inch diameter pipe for the percolation tests? Cori, please let me know the estimate on how many kids there are in Tsuraku.

1. American candy and soccer balls for kids in Tsuraku (find out from Cori how many kids there are)
2. All the water quality testing supplies under "buy/get in U.S.":
o Gloves
o Permanent marker(s) (to label Petri dishes and other things)
o Masking tape (for labeling)
o Tinfoil (to cover Petri dishes)
o Ammonia test strips (from Petco or Petsmart)
o Pool free chlorine test kit- Walmart
o Thermometer- Walgreens/Walmart
3. In the Percolation, soil classification, depth to groundwater, water flow rates list under "buy/get in the U.S.":
o 6 inch diameter pipe for percolation tests -- Erick, would you be willing to buy this when you buy the pilot testing supplies?
o 2 stop watches

I believe that is everything... for now.

Have a great weekend and we will reconvene on Tuesday.

Michal

Here you go:)

There are approximately: "40 women, 35 men, and about 150 children.  There are only 2-3 elders in the community."
