Hey Tsuraku Team,

For fundraising: it looks like our best bet for short-term fundraising is going to be begging from family and friends.  I am going to fix up the stock letter for my own use and send it out today, to as many friends and family as possible.  At this point, you can tell everyone just to send you a check -- it can be made out to you, or if they would feel more comfortable, we can have it made out to Arizona State University, with Engineers Without Borders (or EWB-ASU) in the for line.  But we need to get on this now, so I encourage everyone to do this ASAP!

As for airline tickets: I am still unable to access our account, but I am going to take care of that first thing Monday morning.  This means that by the end of the day on Monday, we should be able to purchase tickets.

For reimbursements for equipment: same story.  I will have an answer on Monday.

Please, everybody, send out requests for donations!  They can donate on our website (through ASU Foundation or EWB-USA) or just by sending you a check.

Thanks!
Joe

Hi Joe,

Just to clarify the check designation, do you mean the for line or the Pay to the Order of: line.  I'll be sending a couple of checks to Mark and just want you all to be clear with potential donors.

Thanks.

Hello everybody,

In order to deposit a donation check into our accounts, the Pay to the order of: line needs to have the words Arizona State University somewhere.  The line may also include EWB or Engineers Without Borders.

For simplicity, I recommend that donors fill out checks as follows:

Pay to the order of: Arizona State University
For: EWB-ASU

Also, we now have an address that checks may be sent to:

Engineers Without Borders - ASU Chapter
c/o Richard Filley, Advisor
Global Futures Initiative
Aizona State University
P.O. Box 877406
Tempe, AZ 85287-7406

Please let me know if there are any other questions or concerns, and let's start getting the word out!
Joe
