Yes, absolutely. The Free Plan too will let you multistream to multiple platforms simultaneously. With the Free Service plan, you can multi stream to 3 platforms for up to 20 hours per month. This 20 hours limit gets renewed automatically at the start of each month.

Simulated live is a concept of live streaming to YouTube and Facebook like platforms from pre-recorded videos. This process takes your pre-recorded video and simulates it into an actual live stream, so your viewers will see you as if you are streaming live but you are not.

Livepush offers a pre-recorded live dashboard, which gives you the ability to record your planned event in advance and upload to your Livepush dashboard and turn it into an actual livestream and then multistream to YouTube, Facebook, Twitch and over 40 popular streaming platforms.

For school I need to set up an HTML5 live stream site. They have a flash stream-player they've been using but now they want it to use HTML5 instead. How can I do this? I tried using the video tag but I can't get it working. Below is the code I have. Could someone point me in the correct direction?

Live streaming in HTML5 is possible via the use of Media Source Extensions (MSE) - the relatively new W3C standard: -source/MSE is an an extension of HTML5 tag; the javascript on webpage can fetch audio/video segments from the server and push them to MSE for playback. The fetching mechanism can be done via HTTP requests (MPEG-DASH) or via WebSockets. As of September 2016 all major browsers on all devices support MSE. iOS is the only exception.

Firstly you need to setup a media streaming server. You can use Wowza, red5 or nginx-rtmp-module. Read their documentation and setup on OS you want. All the engine are support HLS (Http Live Stream protocol that was developed by Apple). You should read documentation for config.Example with nginx-rtmp-module:

It is not possible to use the RTMP protocol in HTML 5, because the RTMP protocol is only used between the server and the flash player. So you can use the other streaming protocols for viewing the streaming videos in HTML 5.

CefSharp only provides codecs which are free of copy protection, and so perhaps YouTube has switched to something which is not provided. There are all sorts of nasty licensing implications to shipping Xibo with support for other codecs.

Can you tell me if by configuring this, the YouTube iframe would be rendered by Edge? How can I make this configuration?
Should I include all YouTube URL formats, a specific video URL, or the YouTube domain?

I created a dataset layout that includes a regex where you input the URL of a YouTube video, and it automatically updates the layout. It was working great until YouTube stopped allowing embedding live streams on the Xibo Player (for whatever reason), only videos that are not live streams work.

Create a layout with a fullscreen WebPage and insert the URL of your YouTube video or livestream using the following format: YouTube
(This URL format will play the video in fullscreen and autoplay)

Guys, just to let you know.
I tested it on version R203, which uses IE. Even with Windows 10, it worked REALLY well.
Including using the dataset model I mentioned earlier.
Indeed, the problem for this to work correctly is CefSharp.

I am capturing video from webcam in my PC and in the fly convert it to FLV (using ffmpeg). As a result I have a continuously growing .FLV file. And now I would like to play it as a live stream.I was trying VLC but it plays the file no longer than the duration read from file on initialization. What player can I use for live playing FLV?I am working on Ubuntu 16.04.

Is it possible for now to watch live youtube video streams using vlc? I just don't want to use flash player.I know that vlc can play youtube videos using link for the page where that video is located, but how about live youtube videos?

The Supreme Judicial Court provides live audio streaming of all of its oral arguments, and video streaming of high-profile cases. In addition, recordings of the arguments are available for approximately two weeks after the arguments. If you experience problems watching or listening to the stream, please email lawcour...@courts.maine.gov so that we may determine if there is a technical issue or a common problem for listeners that we can address. Please include information on what device you were using to listen (PC, Mac, iOS, or Android) and, if on a PC or Mac, what browser you were using.

The live stream will be active only while the Court is in session and on the bench. The schedule of the Court's next oral argument session, with a summary of the issues in each case, is on the Court's Calendar page.

The stream for each argument will begin approximately five minutes before the argument is scheduled to begin, but will be muted until the Court takes the bench. To watch or listen to the stream, use the player below. The player has controls that allow you to watch or listen on YouTube and to make the stream fullscreen.

We are now streaming video of the Court's arguments. We hope that you find the video useful. If you have any comments or suggestions about the video stream, please email us and let us know your thoughts.

Since yesterday I began experiencing the issue of Youtube live stream videos stopping after a few seconds of playing. The video stops and the autoplay feature launches the next video, as if the live stream had ended. Specifically, I get this when trying to stream ABC News Live, NBC News Live, Euronews Live, or other similar channels.

I have 3 Roku systems and this issue happens on all 3 of them. This was not happening before yesterday. If I try the same Youtube streaming channels on a mobile phone, a tablet or a PC, on the same wifi connection, the streaming videos play fine, without stopping. The issue is only when playing the videos on the Roku systems.

Try removing the channel from the Roku home screen by navigating to the channel tile, pressing the * key on your remote and choosing 'Remove channel'. Then restart your device from Settings>System>System restart. Once your player starts up again, add the channel back once more.

Thank you for your response. I am concerned about removing the Youtube channel as it is my understanding that if I remove it I will not be able to add it back again, due to some legal discrepancies between Roku and Youtube that were announced a few months ago. Could you please confirm if this is correct or not? Can I be completely sure that the Youtube channel will be available for me to add it back?

YouTube is constantly fiddling with their coding. Like all developers of channel apps for streamers, they then need to update the numerous versions of their device-specific apps (for Roku, Firestick, etc.) and frequently get one or more of them screwed up. It may then take one or more additional updates to fix the problems.

If you are still experiencing an issue after performing a clean re-install, you'll want to contact the channel provider support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.

The upcoming two events being live streamed are listed below the live stream player. For a listing of all Tufts Music events to be streamed, see the Events calendar. All live streamed events have an indication in their title. Additional events to be streamed are added throughout the semester.

Use any device with a browser and an internet connection to access the KPR website (the website you're looking at right now!). Click the big red button at the top left of the screen and begin listening.

The KPR App is the best way to listen to KPR on your mobile device! Not only can you listen live to both KPR and KPR2, you can also listen to past recordings, archived episodes, watch videos and so much more. And it's free! Read more about it.

Listen to KPR with our Listen Live player, or you can stream our audio directly to your PC or Mac using either iTunes, Windows Media Player, Winamp and more. You will need to click on one of the links below to open the live stream on your computer. An alert box will pop up and ask if you want to save, open or discard the downloaded file. Choose to open the download. iTunes or Windows Media Player will then begin playing the streaming audio. You may have to ask your IT administrator to do this for you if you listen to KPR at work.

A podcast is rich media, such as audio or video, distributed via RSS. Feeds like these provide updates whenever there is new content. They can be added to iTunes and you can automatically receive updates to your computer, phone or tablet. Click the links below to get started!

In addition to the live stream, you may listen to four excerpts below. These excerpts are also available on the LP included with the Longplayer book. The dates and times of these excerpts are listed in IDL, ie. as they occurred at the International Date Line.

If you are playing a live stream, the player automatically senses this and provides a user interface (UI) tailored to the stream. When the video is playing the live feed real time, you see Live indicator will have a red circle next to it, as shown here:

If the stream allows, and you use the DVR functionality and the scrubber to click back in the feed, you see the Live indicator has a gray circle beside it, and the scrubber indicates where you are in the stream, as shown in the following screenshot (this backward scrubbing is dependent on the particular live stream and the number of past video segments that it makes available):

The live stream playback functionality is implemented in Video.js, the open source player on which Brightcove Player is built. For an in depth, technical look about playing live stream in Video.js see the The live user interface and API in Video.js document.
