National Drive Electric Month - Sep 12-Oct 12, 2025

Are folks up for starting to get some regular bi-annual National Drive Electric Events going in the Tucson area? These are held in April (Drive Electric Earth Month) and September (Drive Electric Month). 

In past events, we have had dealers show up to offer test drives, we could certainly make an effort to reach out to some of the local dealers to see if they would be interested.

I have coordinated a number of these in the past, so I can handle the registration part. But being new to the area, I am not familiar with locations that would be good for an event like this. 

Ideal locations are either visible from busy streets, or in areas with considerable retail or event traffic. Given the temps should be more moderate in October, my thinking is towards the end of the campaign, ie Saturday 10/11, or Sunday 10/12. 

So if anyone has connections for locations that might be a good fit and could help coordinate any permissions needed, I would appreciate help in that area. I have reached out to the folks at Tucson Mall, no word yet. 

This year, there will be drawings for gift cards that we could use to purchase club materials to use at public events. To be eligible, we have to act fast!
